Passenger Service

Our Passenger Service Division takes care of the passenger check-in and luggage, both international as well as domestic.

Group luggage service

We take care for nice and safe beginning of the trip for the individual passengers and groups travelling with the help of our services. On demand we collect the luggage from coaches and busses and transport directly to the passenger check-in desks.

Disabled passenger care and those requiring assistance

Passengers, who require special assistance during their trip (MAAS) as well as disabled passengers can count on our professional and friendly help. We can provide all the necessary equipment needed by the passenger: a wheelchair, an ambulift vehicle, and our friendly and professional staff will assist all the way to the aircraft and to collect the luggage.
The only thing is to order such service when purchasing the ticket or when making a reservation and inform the reception after arriving to the airport.

Care over children travelling unaccompanied under the supervision of the carrier (UM)

For the request of the passenger we offer special attention to children travelling unaccompanied (UM). We escort the child all the way through to the aircraft, from the check-in counter to the gate. In the aircraft the child is handed over to the cabin crew. We assist in filling in a declaration, which is necessary to take over the child travelling as an UM.
We will be pleased to provide such service to you, we only ask kindly for such information when buying a ticket or when making a reservation and report to the reception after arriving to the airport.
Complaints and looking for the lost luggage:
In case of losing the luggage or having to make a luggage claim, our well qualified personnel remains at Your disposal. We search for your luggage at the airports around the world and thanks to advanced IT systems we limit the time of waiting for the luggage to an absolute minimum.

Aircraft service

As the biggest and most experienced handling agent in Poland we provide comprehensive service for aircraft at the airports in Warsaw and Kraków. Our services cover, among others, the following fields:

  • flight coordination
  • aircraft push back and flight deck communication
  • transport of passengers and the crew to/from the aircraft

  • loading and unloading of baggage and cargo from aircraft

Cargo

The Cargo Service Division offers air freight services in export, import and transit movement. We manage a Cargo Terminal facility covering over 10 000m2 of warehouse space. As a registered agent, we offer our customers a high standard of service and safety of air freight.

Our storage space allows us to handle all air cargo in the best conditions, including refrigerated facilities, which temperature is adapted to the requirements of specific goods. We offer storage spaces dedicated to handle special freight, such as live animals, valuable cargo, diplomatic mail, radioactive materials and many others:

  • cargo warehouse
  • unloading and loading of goods
  • handling of valuable cargo
  • handling of perishable goods
  • AVI services
  • road clearance

In the frame of comprehensive approach we also offer the services of a Customs Agency, where our highly qualified staff supports our customers in handling the customs clearance process.

Maintenance of vehicles and handling equipment

It is indispensible to posses reliable handling equipment for efficient and fast handling of aircrafts. LS Airport Services S.A. owns professional technical infrastructure, which allows to undertake the repair of vehicles and handling equipment on the spot, that significantly reduces the costs of repairs and saves time necessary for its realization.

Custom agency

Since 17 years we have been providing customs and shipping services to our clients. We offer the services concerning customs clearance of import, export and transit deliveries.

  • We make import, export and transit customs declarations.
  • We prepare proper documentation for customs authority and public administration.
  • We provide customs clearance of commodities, including hazardous and radioactive items.
  • We serve intra-EU deliveries.
  • We serve Time Matters and LOT CBV courier mails. <

Training Department

The Training Department provides comprehensive training for the ground handling staff in accordance with the requirements of the client. We operate on the basis of IATA regulations and ISAGO standards. Our staff consists of experienced and well-qualified instructors.

We offer the following types of training:

  • Loading and unloading of aircraft and the supervision of these processes in accordance with applicable standards of the airlines affiliated with IATA
  • “Flight Coordinator": co-ordination and supervision of operations related to the apron services of the aircraft
  • Load planning and weight & balance – manual
  • AXS EDS ORCA (check-in, weight & balance)
  • Flight Deck Communication
  • De-icing of aircrafts and anti-icing, inspection after de-icing - according to the AEA
  • The handling of equipment - conveyor belts, loading platforms, stair trucks, electric and combustion carts, sanitation and water handling, air and power generators, heaters and air conditioners, de-icing vehicles, push-backs, vehicles for the disabled and passenger buses
  • General regulations for passenger and baggage check-in
  • Visa training
  • Customers Service - for passenger service personnel
  • “Ramp Basic” for staff operating Lufthansa aircrafts (with DGR category 10) - Lufthansa Program

2011.05.17 Change in the company data

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

I am pleased to inform you as our important client about significant positive changes in our company. As of today, LOT Services Sp. z o.o. (LOT Services Ltd.) changes its name to LS Airport Services S.A. (LS Airport Services PLC).

 

The change results from the merger of LOT Services Sp. z o.o. and LOT Cargo S.A. and the transfer of ownership to the State Treasury and Regional Economic Fund S.A.

 

Thus, the Company becomes an independent handling operator in the Polish aviation market, additionally strengthened in its economic potential, which will enable a more dynamic growth, including expansion to other domestic airports, and will allow for even more flexibility in adapting to the changes in the business environment.
